Cancellation Policy

Shell Shine Cleaning provides residential and light commercial cleaning services based on the descriptions and pricing listed on our website. By booking with us, clients agree to our policies regarding scheduling, service expectations, cancellations, payments, and privacy. Appointments are confirmed at booking, and arrival includes a standard 30-minute window. We require 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule; less than 24 hours may result in a $40 fee or 50% of the service price. Lock-outs, where we are unable to access the home within 15 minutes, are billed at 50%. Severe weather or emergencies qualify for a free reschedule. Clients must provide safe access to the property, including gate codes, alarms, pet details, or special instructions. We do not move heavy furniture, handle hazardous materials, landscape, clean exterior, or clean items that may be damaged by standard cleaning methods. Shell Shine Cleaning is insured and bonded; however, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage, unsecured items, or delicate materials not disclosed beforehand. Any concerns or breakage claims must be submitted within 24 hours. If you are not satisfied with any part of your service, notify us within 24 hours and we will return to re-clean the specific area at no charge. Payment is due at or before service appointment, and we accept major debit/credit cards and approved digital payments; some services may require a deposit. Refunds are provided only for cancellations with proper notice, billing errors, or if we cannot complete a satisfaction-guarantee visit. Chargebacks should only be initiated after contacting us for resolution. For privacy, we collect only the information needed to schedule and complete services, including name, contact details, service preferences, and address. Payment information is processed securely through third-party providers, and we never store full card numbers. We do not sell personal information; it is used solely for scheduling, communication, and operational purposes. We may update these policies at any time, and continued use of our website or services implies acceptance of changes.
